I am a full-time editor/writer and serious amateur photographer who loves creating visual imagery out of the light and the natural subjects around me. I particularly love plant life, wildlife, and travelscapes, and dabble in portraiture from time to time. Finally, while they won’t generally appear in this blog, I also spend an inordinate amount of time behind a 75-300 mm at 1/1200 shooting hundreds of passes, goals, and assists for my daughters’ soccer team.

Nice article at DPS on shooting sports :)….reaffirms much of what I’ve learned over the past three years in shooting mainly sports, as an amateur.
