Art, au natural…
This is one of my favorite photography themes–finding beautiful patterns in a completely natural setting. This was one of several lovely cypress tree in Seagrove Beach, Florida, where our family vacations each year. This was one of those times when you are glad you carry your camera everywhere. We had simply stepped out to pick up some pizza at our favorite establishment, Bruno’s, across the street, and I had anticipated snapping a couple of cute family shots as we waited on dinner. After doing so, I decided to explore a little further, and wandered around to the back of the restaurant, where these beautiful, old curving trees surround a peaceful lilypond. I tried quite a few different compositional ideas, but this one has ended up as my favorite. The lines just curve so expressively, it’s a bit hypnotic, yet soothing. Hope you enjoy as well…
