Morning moon…
I knew the minute I looked up in the sky yesterday morning, at about 6:15 a.m., that this shot was begging for a post. Sometimes images just speak to you. Yes, the moon’s been shot countless times, and yes, to some, this may appear quite ordinary. But the vision of the beautiful moon in the early morning, with the delicate rays of the sun just brushing across its surface, was a poetic moment, so I acted swiftly, set up the tripod, and tripped the shutter. It was the light that drew me, and the peaceful way it reflected off the moon’s surface, hanging softly in the quiet, hazy blue blanket of the morning, that urged me to yet again, shoot the moon. Hope you enjoy…

I love it. It imvites me to come on up and explore it. This image is so clear and vivid and I love the blue surrounding the moon in place of seeing it with a black sky.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
This is amazing. Yes, some things have been painted and photographed countless times, but they’re still so beautiful you just want to capture them in some way, even when (in many cases, but not here! 🙂 ) you know the results are never going to match the sight. Thank you!
Many thanks for those comments. I always choose my images and words based upon what moves me…but it’s such a nice feeling when you hear you’ve touched others in the same way. Thanks for stopping by!
